Ticket help for Scottish fans

#
We have been unsuccessful in our application to buy 3 tickets for the away game at Dortmund. We are Eagle followers from playing football manager and we are in germany over the weekend of the 14th April. Unfortunately, we are away from home so we tried to get tickets for the Dortmund game through official means. We were unlucky I think not to get any.
What other means do we have to try and get tickets? I notice mention on the forum of suche y biete but am not sure of the rules about exchanging tickets.

any help and advice about buying tickets safely for bundesliga would be greatly appreciated.

danke

Hi Bryan
in addition to Little Crow who is absolutely correct, my experience with BvB tickets.
It is a few years ago that I phoned BvB directly (shame I do not hold anymore the name of the nice lady) and was informed that it is no problem for foreigners to get tickets as BvB is used to deal with lots of English people coming for matches. Instead of phoning use this contact sheet and wait for their reaction.  http://www.bvb.de/Kontakt
They will most likely contact you within days. You will pay upfront and they will tell you at which till you can pick up the tickets on match day. Allow enough time to pick up tickets as it is busy at that till or pick up point. My son from London had no probs with BvB procedures, it was straight forward and easy as soon you have contact.
The Eagles will win this match so do not expect Kloppo atmosphere after the match. Enjoy it till we take the lead. here further contacts  http://www.bvb.de/Infos
cheers from an Ebbsfleet supporter (soon league member)
Advice:  keep enough space in your bag/suitcase for the dortmund beer (a lot cheaper than in the UK)
Give my regards to Lady Gaga (Mrs.May), she is just as useless as our Mutti Merkel.

I am ever so sorry, I did not want to insult you, you are a scotsman.
Of course BvB will treat Scotish people just as the English, Murdo MacLeod and Paul Lambert are not forgotten there. Just as the Battle of Culodden is not forgotten for you either.
So Nicola Sturgeon is getting ready for the battle against Lady Gaga (T.May) - let the women fight, we watch footie.
Assume you come to Frankfurt for the home match vs Bremen and on the way home you watch our eagles away win in Dortmund. On 11./12.April BvB plays a Champions League match (tba - draw not taken yet). With a bit of luck they have a home match, in this case you could apply for tickets to watch CL as well - only if you wish.
However, enjoy your time in Germany. It's always nice to meet up with scotish guys, shame your clubs are not as strong as they used to be. I remember world cup 1974 in Germany (Frankenfurt) when Scotland played same group as Brazil and Yugoslawia. Unfortunately Scotland had to go home UNBEATEN after great battles - this time on the pitch. That was very sad to see.
All the best, enjoy. In Scotland I support Elgin, on Glasgow teams I am neutral

Thanks for your advice.
no offence taken - don't worry.

we are only in Germany from the 13th -16th April and the idea was to be with the Eagle fans, but hopefully I can get tickets ., albeit in the Dortmund section. I will follow your kind advice and email BvB directly.

Our football is terrible these days. My team is Dundee. We famously beat Koln 8-1 in Scotland in the European Cup in 1963 - a long long time ago now!

Sorry I thought you may be one of the scottish guys of "rosco39" who watch the home match Eintracht vs Bremen on Fryday 7th April (fish n' chips day - that's why I spell Friday with Y).
*rosco39 under Foreign Affairs - drink before the game.
Both of your groups should consider to reschedule for both matches and a nice week in germany. The match in Dortmund is a week later, so a perfect time to spend Euros before the Brexit makes it more expensive and more inconvenient for us to travel to each others countries. I doubt Nicola Sturgeon will win the battle with Lady Gaga as it will cost a lot to leave UK. RBS debts would hit scotland as they would have to cough up for it.
And as poor Queen Lizzy owns Balmoral, she would need a passport or a visa to travel to her castle. The HIghlanders would charge her for the Highland games, would she queue for tickets?  I doubt it.
To be honest, I believe the Brexit will be the end of the UK as the people in England will soon be fed up with the clocks going backwards.
However, enjoy your time in germany, however long you stay.
Slánte and good luck for Dundee FC, keep away from the relegation zone, it's only 6 points at the mo
